Peter Jannink Nature Park is an area left for nature in Salmon Arm. The nature reserve is great for bird watching. Whilst visiting we saw some red winged blackbirds and also a Golden eagle happened to fly overhead. The area is named after Peter Jannink who converted it from a scrub land into what it is today, with the wooden walkways that take you out to the water. There is also an area in which beavers have been sighted, although I wasn't able to see them.

Beautiful Rockies
Taken somewhere along Highway one in Canada. The views there are amazing and every corner brings something different to see. I have decided that if I ever get the chance; I will hire a car and drive along the Highway taking the detours off of it to go into the mountains and experience the country.

From the window..
A lot of travelling occurred whilst in Canada with several trips on the Greyhound coaches. This shot was taken from the window seat on the final journey, returning to Calgary. Most of the trip had been overcast, but as the coach approached Banff the cloud cover broke and the sun came out, allowing me to capture this photo of the mountain as we drove by.
