Around the River bend

Looking out at Mount Rundle from the base of Bow falls, in Banff National Park. The falls are only a short walk from the town. They have been eroded down by a storm but are still wonderful to watch and observe the power of flowing water.  Banff itself although touristic is close to some wonderful sciences of nature and well worth stopping for.

From the window..

A lot of travelling occurred whilst in Canada with several trips on the Greyhound coaches. This shot was taken from the window seat on the final journey, returning to Calgary. Most of the trip had been overcast, but as the coach approached Banff the cloud cover broke and the sun came out, allowing me to capture this photo of the mountain as we drove by.
