A peaceful place.

Peter Jannink Nature Park is an area left for nature in Salmon Arm. The nature reserve is great for bird watching. Whilst visiting we saw some red winged blackbirds and also a Golden eagle happened to fly overhead. The area is named after  Peter Jannink who converted it from a scrub land into what it is today, with the wooden walkways that take you out to the water. There is also an area in which beavers have been sighted, although I wasn't able to see them.
