A couple of years ago I was lucky enough to stay at a Farm in Worcester a couple of times. This meant evening strolls around the farm to see the animals. These beautiful cattle were always pleased to see us. They were inside for a while before being let out to roam the fields.

The Highlander

Taken whilst on a drive around the Scottish Highlands with my family. We came across a filed full of different breeds of cow, which had no fences securing them in. I decided to get out of the car and get a bit closer to some of them, who seemed quite friendly and so I managed to get some photos I was pleased with.

The young ones

Back in 2010 we took a family holiday to the Isle of Skye. A lot of the holiday was spent driving around exploring the island. On several of these trips there would often be livestock on the side of the road, or in the middle of it on some occasions. One day whilst driving we came across a herd of cattle in the road with their calves on the side of the road. Having my camera with me, I wound down the window and took a couple of shots.
