I am very lucky to live only a matter of minutes away from the Clifton Suspension Bridge. A lot of the time I am too busy to be able to see the sunset but on this occasion I was able to capture a nice glow of the clouds, despite missing the main event. The bridge is somewhere that despite being iconic to Bristol, is still an area which is peaceful in the evenings with only a few people wandering around. I will be leaving Bristol in June and hope to capture the bridge at sunset again before then.

Bridge in the Snow
A few years back it snowed quite dramatically in Bristol. I decided to go out in the snow and after visiting the Zoo ended up trekking to the suspension bridge. I am so glad I did as seeing the area in the snow was something I probably will never get to see satin, unless the weather changes dramatically in the next few weeks.

150th Celebrations.
On the 7th of December
the Clifton Suspension Bridge celebrated 150 years since its opening. To mark
the event, a firework show was put on. The fireworks went on for approximately
12 minutes and in that time we were treated many sights, sounds and colours,
with an amazing waterfall firework off the bridge being one of the highlights.
It was a chilly evening and as the crowd gathered we took a moments silence to
remember the recent tragedy that had occurred so close by before the show went ahead for the evening. It seemed gathered on the hillside by the bridge that most of Bristol had turned up to see the spectacle.
