Recently on a very warm day in London we came across a dessert place we have seen a couple of times before. This time due to the heat we decided that we would stop by possibly for an ice-cream or a cake to take away. In the end we opted to stay. Here is the sorbet sundae that I enjoyed, all fresh fruit flavours turned out to be very refreshing. The place is called Kula and is located near to Selfridges in an area called St James' Square if I am correct. Worth a visit as there is plenty of choice and they do savouries and meals as well.

Taking the Plunge
Taken at ZSL London Zoo last summer. The Penguin Beach exhibit is wonderful with its large glass fronted area so you can watch the birds swimming. I managed to capture this shot more by luck than anything as the Penguins are so fast when swimming about that most photos turn out as black and white blurs.

Tower Bridge
This December I found myself with a few hours to kill in London. I decided that I would do a little it of sight seeing and so visited Tower Bridge. There is a glass platform on the top levels which is quite a nice addition but did get rather busy with people taking photos. After my visit I decided to walk along the river bank and this is where I captured this photo from. Rather randomly the Coca-Cola christmas lorry was parked up behind me at the time.

Camden Lock
Camden in London happens to be one of my favourite places in the capital for shopping. It's full of interesting shops and unique little stalls within the markets. This photo was taken on a bright summer day when we had gone for a wander down the river, looking back towards the market. Although the clouds are over exposed here there is something about the light and the colours that really makes me like this photo.
